Volvo unveils Audi A3 rival

The new Volvo C30 SportsCoupe will make its world debut at the Paris motor show in late September.

The car is a two door, four-seater with a glass tailgate. Volvo calls it a SportsCoupe.

The new Volvo C30 will compete against the Audi A3 and BMW 1-series.

Key points of the new C30:

  • Smallest Volvo available
  • Two-door four-seater
  • Four-cylinder petrol (100PS) and diesel (109PS) engines
  • Performance five-cylinder T5 petrol (220PS) and D5 diesel (180PS)
  • On sale from January 2007
