SMART has announced expansion of its city mobility offering in Germany and France with its ‘smart ready-to-rent’ scheme which is now available.
Following on from ‘smart ready to park+’ and ‘smart ready to drop’, the innovative smart scheme, they claim, is available to make life simpler.
The new rental scheme is ideal for city dwellers who rely on public transport for daily use but want a vehicle for mobility freedom in the evening or for a weekend of shopping or leisure with a range of smart cars to choose from.
An alternative to hiring a car and without the expense or maintenance worries of owning one, the smart scheme offers a range of models for a few hours use. Models include the smart fortwo, smart fortwo convertible, smart forfour, smart Brabus and the new electric drive models that will be available in 2017.
smart ready-to-rent is available through smart dealers and smart partners in the German cities of Münster, Osnabrück, Essen, Bochum and Recklinghausen and in selected cities in France. The scheme will be gradually extended to further cities.
