30 November 1999

The MINI Cooper S Clubman model – the performance version of the MINI estate – made its debut at the Nottingham BCA auction house.

The average selling price of the seven models was £18,150, higher than the residual value guide price.

A further 48 MINI derivatives sold strongly for an average of £14,800, well in excess of guideline used prices. These included seven examples of the MINI Cooper D hatchback that averaged £15,250.

“The MINI Cooper S Clubman made a strong debut, which suggests it will be a successful and desirable model as a used car,” commented, Paul Dunn, national account manager, BCA.
