Jo Ewen: Alphabet's new GM for new business sales

ALPHABET today announced that Jo Ewen has joined the company in a newly-created role as general manager for Alphabet new business direct sales.

Ewen joins Alphabet with a wealth of commercial leadership experience, having previously worked for the RAC, Europcar, FMG, TR Fleet and most recently LeasePlan UK.

She will be a familiar figure to many within the industry from her connections with those businesses and brings a broad understanding of all aspects of funding, fleet management and mobility services.

Responsible for a team of 17 people based in Farnborough and all around the UK, Ewen will report directly to chief commercial officer, Simon Carr.

Gavin Davis remains in his role as GM for SME sales and distribution.

Simon Carr said: “Jo joins the Alphabet team at an important time and in a newly-created position following the recent reorganisation of our Commercial operations. Jo will play an instrumental role in driving forward our commercial and new business sales activities into 2018 and beyond.
