KEEPING track of business mileage is a constant headache for company car drivers and business car managers, but anyone signing up for the Allstar fuel card will find the answer.
Allstar, which has 1.1 million users of its fuel card, is offering all new customers the Business Mileage Manager (BMM) software, free of charge.
BMM is an automated software tool that calculates personal and business mileage, and provides data that is fully compliant with HMRC requirements. Reporting, reimbursement and payment of taxes are all precisely provided.
The technology includes automated pence per mile and mileage calculation, full journey detail recording, integration of journeys with fuel card data, journey plotting by postcode, management reporting with online manager claim approval, business and private mileage capture and pre-populated journey records.
Brian Flood, Allstar’s vice president for non-fuel products, says that the fuel card is the only one to offer software of sufficient sophistication to enable customers to keep accurate records.
“More and more customers are asking us for the precision of BMM as other tools leave them exposed,” Brian says.
“We are offering free use of BMM to new customers so that companies can experience its accuracy and the peace of mind of being HMRC compliant. It’s a simple to use tool which can be implemented quickly with no set-up fee.”
