EBBON-DACS Leaselink platform is having a significant upgrade to its home page, the e-procurement specialist for major leasing and fleet management companies has announced.

The Leaselink platform, which is used by many of the country’s largest contract hire and leasing companies, now electronically sources more than 210,000 vehicles a year.

Ebbon-Dacs director Robert Pilkington said: “We have made significant investment in man-months in the new front end to Leaselink. But we are now confident that what we have is a considerable and significant enhancement over the previous version.

“End-users will not only find it far more attractive visually with a more modern and up-to-date look and feel, but they will be pleased with the new levels of functionality, transparency and accuracy in terms of the timing of each vehicle transaction.”

Currently in its second generation, Leaselink is based on a well established principle of T-Card task management technology and fully automates the vehicle procurement process, bringing considerable savings and increased transparency.

The new functionality will not only improve the look, feel and attractiveness of the system’s front end, but it will make it easier to use with extra features and increased access to more detailed information.

The changes to the platform were announced at Ebbon-Dacs’ annual Leaselink community conference in Buckinghamshire that was attended by senior representatives from major contract hire and leasing companies, fleet dealers and OEMs.

At the event, delegates were also provided with details of further Ebbon-Dacs developments, including the continued and sustained success of the electronic vehicle delivery and collection solution, moDel.

moDel now handles some 18,000 vehicle movements per month and is being used by increasing numbers of leasing companies, logistics providers and new and used vehicle dealerships to deliver new vehicles and collect used ones from fleet customers.

Customer pilots of the new home page will commence after the next Leaselink release in the first quarter of 2018.
