  • Compact SUV with distinct urban appeal
  • World Premiere via livestream Wednesday 23 August

BE excited. The compact SUV class is about to be rocked by the brand new VW T-Roc.

First presented as a concept car at the Geneva Motorshow back in 2014, the VW T-Roc is now entering full production. VW already manufacture a range of successful SUV models but this is a new take on the compact section of the segment.

Described as a Lifestyle Crossover with SUV characteristics – Volkswagen has opted to call it a CUV? – the T-Roc is a contemporary take on the urban crossover.

VW believe the T-Roc reflects a combination of off-road features with dynamic design and urban appeal. Although it’s clearly a Volkswagen the styling is distinctive. A wide radiator grille with integrated headlights is a defining touch. The indicator and daytime running lights are built into the bumper which also gives the T-Roc a unique light signature at night.

The new VW T-Roc will be available in a bi-colour scheme with a wide range of combinations that allow drivers to configure the car to their individual requirements.

If this all sounds a little bit vague there’s an excellent reason for that. It’s because the new VW T-Roc is still a secret.

All we have to go on so far is a couple of artist’s impressions and a twenty second video that reveals nothing more than a tantalising glimpse of the new car. That and a single paragraph full of buzzwords that don’t actually reveal anything more than we’ve already told you.

It looks really cool but Volkswagen is determined to keep the T-Roc secret just a little bit longer.

If you’re desperately interested to find out more about the new VW T-Roc you only need to wait a few days. The world premiere of the T-Roc is at 7pm next Wednesday, 23 August, and the entire event will be available via a livestream if you follow the link above.
