The Audi RS 3 Sportback gets the most powerful five-cylinder engine ever fitted to an Audi RS model – a 2.5-litre unit producing 367 PS, enough for a 0-62 MPH time of just 4.3 seconds and a governed top speed of 155 MPH, which can be raised to 174 MPH on request.
The RS 3 Sportback has a quattro all-wheel drive system and a seven-speed self-shifting S tronic dual clutch gearbox. It is expected to be capable of returning up to 34.8mpg, corresponding to CO2 emissions of 189 g/km.
The new model will be available to order in the UK from March 2015, with first customer deliveries taking place next summer.
