ATS Euromaster appoints Jess Jones as new head of national fleets, with the goal of driving the tyre and vehicle maintenance provider’s growth in the car and light commercial vehicle (LCV) national leasing fleets sector.
Jones brings to the role more than 20 years’ experience of business management at some of Britain’s biggest fleets, having held senior positions at Avis Rent-a-Car, Leasedrive, Lex and CLM Fleet Management, and will work to ensure ATS Euromaster’s fleet customers continue to benefit from reduced downtime, and use their vehicles as efficiently as possible.
Jerome Monsaingeon, group managing director at ATS Euromaster, says: “Jess’s all-round background in fleet means she brings extensive first-hand knowledge of how best to support national fleets in reducing costs, and attracting more business through an exceptional driver experience.”
Jones will be developing ATS Euromaster’s national fleet support to create a retail-style experience backed with a solid business-to-business focus on efficiency and minimising downtime.
Plans include expanding ATS Euromaster’s mobile inspection service for national fleets, and gathering information that will allow more accurate demand forecasting to improve tyre stock availability. ATS Euromaster will also be introducing a smartphone app that allows drivers of fleet vehicles to quickly and easily book appointments at a time to suit them.
Jones says: “ATS Euromaster’s combined network and mobile fleet reach is unrivalled, which opens up exciting possibilities for supporting national fleets. However, we don’t just want to support them – we want to change what’s expected from a fleet service provider, so that fleet drivers get the same personalised experience as our retail customers.”
Jones will oversee ATS Euromaster’s strategic account managers in B2B and leasing for cars and vans, and will report in to Peter Fairlie, ATS Euromaster retail and fleet director.
