Alphabet and FTA’s Van Excellence scheme
- Alphabet funds and manages a fleet of over 13,500 LCVs nationwide
- Recognised partner in the Freight Transport Association’s (FTA) Van Excellence programme
ALPHABET has become a recognised partner in the Freight Transport Association’s (FTA) Van Excellence programme.
Alphabet celebrates Van Excellence following an event held jointly between the FTA and Vauxhall at their plant in Luton where over 40 members of Alphabet’s commercial and account management teams were awarded the FTA Certificate of Excellence in van operations following training in operational best practice and legislation.
Over the past 12 months Alphabet has significantly increased the scope and scale of its commercial vehicle offering so that now they fund and manage a fleet of over 13,500 LCVs nationwide.
Chief commercial officer Martin Quail commented: “We have previously had a long-standing, informal relationship with the FTA so becoming a Van Excellence Partner is official recognition of our strengths in the LCV arena and the progress we have made over the past few years.”
