BCA has announced that Wolfgang E Reinhold joins BCA as divisional CEO Europe, starting his new role on 29 May.

Reinhold has extensive experience in the remarketing and leasing sectors having spent the last 28 years at LeasePlan Group.  For the past 16 years he has held the role of group service senior VP operation, procurement and car remarketing for LeasePlan.

In his role, Wolfgang E Reinhold has successfully led many disruptive digital and platform changes in the pan-European remarketing arena.

His new role with BCA will build on this experience as the company continues to develop its “One Europe” programme to deliver its market leading digital platforms across the EU remarketing space.

Reinhold is also a founder and the chairman of CARA, the European Car Remarketing Association and he will continue as the chairman of this organisation.

Over the coming months, Reinhold will work alongside BCA COO Europe Jean-Roch Piat to lead the role out of the newly developed BCA pan-European platforms.

BCA executive chairman Avril Palmer-Baunack commented: “We are delighted to welcome Wolfgang to BCA as divisional CEO Europe.

“His long-established success in building disruptive digital platforms alongside his in-depth market knowledge and well respected position within the European automotive market will allow BCA to drive through the next stages of our ‘One Europe’ programme to deliver Europe’s first truly pan-European digital remarketing platform with a supporting physical network.”

“Wolfgang brings significant experience to this new role and will support and develop our European business team at this critical time.”
