Around two million vehicles are scrapped each year, but what happens when you hand over the keys?

If you are buying a new car then one of the things you need to consider is what to you are going to do with your old one.

There are plenty of options available to you; trade it in and possibly receive a lower value than the car is actually worth, sell it privately and have the hassle of people knocking on your door wanting to take a look or just get rid of it completely by scrapping it.
