No B-pillar! Fantastic access to the 7-seater interior…

Other interesting styling features of the Discovery Vision Concept are the electrically-operated doors, with the rear two opening backwards, plus there is no central B pillar. On top of this, the concept has a large glass roof area, which together with the doors, really open up this Land Rover’s versatile, seven-seat interior.

The Vision Concept not only signals a new design direction for the Discovery, but it also showcases some of the most advanced technology ever seen on an off-roader, including a unique ‘invisible bonnet’.

Designed with off-roading in mind, it works via cameras located in the front grille, which feeds images to a dashboard-mounted head up display, giving drivers the chance to see what they are driving over, effectively through the bonnet!
