V10 and twin turbo power for new Audi RS6

The new Audi RS6 quattro Avant estate will be available for delivery from May.

A saloon Audi RS6 follows later this year.

The new Audi RS6 quattro Avant estate costs L77,625.

It features a 5.0-litre V10 FSI engine. Twin turbochargers push power to 580PS and torque to 650Nm, making the RS 6 the most powerful production Audi of all time.

Despite all that power, the Audi is practical. The estate provides up to 1660 litres of carrying capacity. Fuel economy is 20.1mpg.

Other features include a selectable Dynamic Ride Control (DRC) system, specially configured anti-skid ESP control, and the option to upgrade to ceramic brakes.
