The revised Insignia has the lowest emissions of any car in its class

VAUXHALL’S revised Insignia made its first appearance at the Frankfurt Show, Germany (12-22 September).

The Vauxhall Insignia has few visible exterior modifications.

What’s not visible, though, are the astonishingly low CO2 emissions for its revised diesel engines.

Both the 120PS and 140PS 2.0 CTDi diesel engines deliver just 99g/km CO2.

Both the 120PS and 140PS 2.0 CTDi diesel engines deliver just 99g/km CO2.

This makes the Vauxhall Insignia the lowest emission car in its class.

Which is all good news for company car drivers – it puts the large executive style Insignia in just the 14% company car tax band for 2013/14 tax year.

Better still is a lower P11D price thanks to price reductions of up to £3500.

“The Vauxhall Insignia is our flagship car and is by some distance the leader in its class and we expect to perpetuate this with the new model which sees some significant changes inside and out,” commented Duncan Aldred, chairman and managing director of Vauxhall.

“More important there is a significant price decrease, and we also have a new engine which emits just 99 g/km of CO2. When you look at the benefit in kind company car tax bands based on cost and CO2 then we will have an industry-leading proposition for company car users.”
