IT’S great news for the car industry in Britain as car sales released in September this year have reached their pinnacle in five and half years. It’s even better news for Ford as according to the recent official sales figures Ford’s Fiesta remains the UK’s top selling car, having sold a whopping 20,600 in September alone. This year’s success follows on from the triumph Ford has witnessed over the past few years with the manufacturer’s unwavering commitment to improve the quality of its vehicles resulting in the production of the best-selling car of 2012 – the Ford Focus.
The success for Ford in 2013 doesn’t end there either as the auto manufacturer was awarded four What Car? Awards in January – this year, which is the most that any company has ever won in one year.
The Ford Mondeo has yet again been voted the Best Estate and Best Family Car in the UK with What Car? professionals saying that the Mondeo is “rewarding to drive, with agile handling and a comfortable ride. It will satisfy the family man and the business user, being as assured on twisty lanes as it is on motorways.”
The Fiesta – the best-selling car in the UK for four consecutive years – has been presented with the accolade of the What Car? Best Supermini 2013, described as:
