LEICESTER-based Total Motion has strengthened its management team with several new senior appointments and promotions, including three directorships.

The vehicle management company has promoted its head of finance and its business manager to finance director and commercial director respectively and appointed a new operations director.

Total Motion, based at Meridian Business Park, has more than doubled its workforce over the past three years and now has 62 employees.

Commercial director Kelly Longmuir, who has worked for Total Motion for 11 years, is responsible for overseeing the SME and consumer sales team, sales support team and the account management team.

Kelly previously worked for National Car Rental for six years, undertaking managerial roles within the customer services and sub-contracting departments.

Finance director Mark Hughes has over 30 years of experience within the automotive sector and joined Total Motion two years ago after working at Agility Fleet as their finance director.

His prior experience includes the role of a finance director at BRS Automotive, managing director at BRS Carlease and quality director at GE Capital Fleet Services. Mark’s brief is to continue to grow the business organically.

Operations director Matt Neale has been in the industry for 17 years, having worked for Lombard Vehicle Management, Masterlease and National Car Parks before joining Fraikin, where he managed the UK support centre. Most recently he was operations manager and rental lead for BT Fleet.

In his new role Matt will be accountable for fleet administration, rental, drivers support and the complete procurement portfolio.

Technical services will see a new manager in the form of Nigel Hope, who has been with the company for three-and-a-half years and has stepped into the newly created position.

Other new appointments include:

  • Sean Griffin as promoted to fleet administrations manager
  • Natasha Myers as promoted to sales support manager.
  • Tom Price as promoted to rental and logistics manager
  • Lewis Carroll as business change manager
  • Tracey Ryan as business support manager
  • Raquel Lesta as HR and marketing manager

Congratulating everyone on their promotions and appointments, Total Motion managing director Simon Hill said: “By strengthening our management team we’re now in an even better position to drive the business forward.

“We’ve grown rapidly but we’ve never lost sight of our core values and are committed to providing the highest levels of customer care.”
