TECHNOCRATS will be counting their microchips in anticipation of the new BMW 7 Series launching at the end of October.

It claims to usher in an entirely new level of technology and engineering that backs up its claim as the most innovative luxury car in its class.

Yet the ‘driver’s’ car remains with its Carbon Core technology, blending carbon reinforcement to its aluminium and high-strength steel chassis, to ensure optimal performance, economy and vehicle agility.

Company car drivers will also appreciate its BIK busting credentials with CO2 emissions on the BMW 730d model from just 124g/km and fuel economy of up to 60.1mpg.
Key innovative technology includes:

  • Larger Head-up Display  – a 75% larger display brings key information into your sightline;
  • Gesture Control – infotainment system operation using simple hand gestures;
  • Rear-seat entertainment experience with BMW Touch Command  – two 10-inch high definition screens for passengers operated via a 7-inch tablet;
  • Driving Assistant  – a range of camera-based driver assistance systems to enhance safety;
  • BMW Laserlights  –  headlights that offer a visual range of 600m;
  • Bowers & Wilkins Diamond surround sound system  – superior sound quality throughout the cabin;
  • BMW Display key –  LCD colour display with touch control panel.
