Cold weather ~tyre in snow
Cold weather tyres can keep your business on the road in winter – as people are beginning to understand

THE advantages of fitting winter tyres have been fully recognised by some of the UK’s biggest business vehicle users, and the result is soaring demand.

ATS Euromaster says its seen massive growth in the adoption of winter tyres and expects demand to be higher than ever this autumn.

Why fit them?

Even without snow and ice, winter tyres are safer once the temperature drops below 7 degrees C. But crucially for small businesses, once it does freeze they let you get about long  after summer tyres have given up the ghost.

It can be the difference between getting to a job and not.

Big businesses – the likes of the supermarkets, logistics companies and councils – have already sussed this out, hence the booming demand.

The message is not to wait until the weather changes says ATS; if you do, you may well be disappointed since winter tyre stocks soon run out once there’s snow in the forecast.
