SSANGYONG has revealed the name of its new supermini-sized crossover.
The latest addition to the Korean manufacturer’s range will be called Ssangyong Tivoli, a badge that recalls the Italian town of the same name and the famous Copenhagen fun fair.
The Ssangyong Tivoli will enter a very crowded area of the market where models such as the Nissan Juke, Renault Captur, Peugeot 2008 and Ford EcoSport have already had a chance to establish themselves.
Sssangyong hasn’t released much detail about the Tivoli – previously codenamed X100 – but makes one interesting claim. It says the new car will have the best interior quality in its class – if it delivers on that promise, that will represent a significant advance on the company’s previous models.
The Tivoli will be launched in Korea in January and arrive in other markets during the second quarter of next year.
