Two special editions at two power levels both add extra goodies to the Skoda Rapid package

SKODA is offering two new special editions of its Rapid hatchback with thousands of pounds worth of extra equipment.

The Skoda Rapid SE Connect, which is based on the Rapid 1.2 TSI SE with an 86 PS engine, costs £12,990 but comes with extra kit valued by Skoda at £3,665. That includes sixteen-inch alloys, rear parking sensors, a DAB digital radio, sat nav and a choice of silver and blue metallic paint finishes.

The second limited edition is the Skoda Rapid Sport. That’s also based on the SE trim level, but with the more powerful 105 PS version of the 1.2 TSI engine. Extra equipment – worth £1,250 – includes seventeen-inch black alloys, sunset glass, front fog lamps, sports seats and a rear spoiler. All Rapid Sport models are finished in white, and priced at £15,630.

Skoda is limiting UK sales of the Rapid SE Connect to 800 and the Rapid Sport to 200 cars.
