WE’RE not sure whether all small fleet leasing companies would agree with this, but according to Arval the small sub-10 car SME fleet is still wedded to the idea of buying company cars rather than leasing.
Arval’s findings in its most recent state of the nation report says small businesses with fewer than 10 employees buy rather than lease.
“Smaller businesses don’t seem to have the same appetite to lease their company vehicles. Leasing provides an additional credit line which many aren’t taking up,” commented Arval’s Mike Waters.

However, companies such as small fleet leasing specialist Fleet Alliance, winner of the Small Fleet Leasing Company of the Year 2013 are projecting another record year with new vehicle orders increasing by more than 45% in the first six months of the year.
