The Skoda Superb comes complete with umbrellas… It is like the Czech manufacturer is targeting us Brits

ŠKODA has unveiled its latest assault on the rain-lashed British company car driver by providing two umbrellas in its new Superb premium middleweight car!

This new flagship model from the Czech Republic manufacturer claims to revolutionise the brand’s design with generous dimensions, innovative safety assistance systems, a focus on the environment and comfort, plus powerful EU6 engines and Škoda’s ‘Simply Clever’ features.

The Superb has grown bigger with a wheelbase increased by 80 mm and at the same time the front vehicle overhang is 61 mm shorter than before.

A striking grille, distinctive headlights and the deeply-drawn front-end architecture have been designed for increased presence on the road.

At the same time the driver and front seat passenger enjoy 39 mm more elbow room and more headroom. With 157 mm legroom the rear space, this is about twice as much as in the nearest competitor model. The headroom measures 980 mm, more than any other model in this class. The 625-litre boot capacity is also the biggest in its segment, and 30 litres more than in the second-generation Superb.
