The range-topping new Fabia Elegance (priced from £13,610) also gets an automatically dimming rear view mirror, climate control, a front centre armrest and LED daytime running lights.
In a nod to the high degree of personalisation offered by rivals such as the MINI, Citroen DS3 and Vauxhall Adam, the new Fabia is offered with the Colour Concept system, which allows owners to choose between 15 different body colours, as well as a number of wheel, roof and exterior mirror colour options. Buyers will also be able to choose between three interior trim styles.
The new Fabia will be offered with a wide range of familiar Volkswagen group engine options, including 60 and 75 PS 1.0-litre MPI petrols, and 1.2 TSI petrols with 90 and 110 PS. There are also two 1.4 TDI diesels delivering 90 and 105 PS.
All details are for the five-door Fabia hatchback – Škoda has also unveiled a “Combi” estate version at the Paris Motor Show last week, which will go on sale later on.
