SARAH Easton has joined as a director of Automotive Software Solutions.
Sarah will partner with former Manheim Managing Director Tim Hudson at the start-up tech company.
Automotive Software Solutions, based in Chelmsford, Essex, aims to work with technology partners to market best in class software products. The products will enhance business processes and maximise efficiency in the value chain, says Automotive Software Solutions.
“We see an opportunity to promote great tech products to a wider audience. We can do this in a number of ways – as a reseller, by licensing software, setting up joint ventures, or even developing the technology ourselves,” explained Sarah.
The company already has a number of products to offer the market. These include:
- Auto Optimiser – an asset depreciation tracker and valuation tool
- Logistics Aggregator – a transport aggregator tool managing asset movements whilst securing reduced pricing
- Vehicle Validate – OBD II technology that’s integrated with Data Provenance for use in the growth of personal leasing and PCP to fully interrogate vehicle condition at end of contract
- E-Inspect – providing a seamless, integrated system that ensures inspection processes are more streamlined, more accessible and more efficient
Sarah added:
“We want to work with smaller automotive technology companies to take their products to market using our expertise and experience in the sector.
“Smaller tech companies are usually more flexible and agile, so requirements/solutions can be delivered more quickly and efficiently.
“We want to develop a portfolio of best in class products that support and enhance the complete life cycle of a vehicle. We will be introducing products that, whilst perhaps only on the periphery of core enterprise systems, can make a big difference to the customer’s overall delivery system. We want to be the company people come to when they have the ‘build or buy’ debate.”
Sarah remains a director at consultancy firm ESE UK Consulting which was founded with Caroline Sandall and Jo Elms. Jo, however, has since left to join the Vanarama brokerage.
Both Sarah and Tim both worked together at LeasePlan, Sarah between 2001-2011 and Tim between 2002-2010.
