JUST in case you weren’t convinced Hyundai was taking design more seriously, then take a look at this.
It’s a concept drawing of a new Hyundai i20 Coupe – essentially a sportily designed three-door model of the new generation i20.
Revealed at the premiere of the new generation i20, the Hyundai i20 Coupe will go on sale in 2015.
The Hyundai i20 coupe is part of what Allan Rushforth – Hyundai Europe’s senior Vice President and chief operating officer – calls Hyundai’s ‘momentum stage’. This involves 22 new models by 2017.
The first cars in the ‘momentum stage’ are the new generation i20 and the upmarket Genesis saloon, both of which will come to the UK in January.
No words yet on engines or pricing for Hyundai i20 Coupe, but it is expected the look and the way the car drives will reflect its sporty styling.
