In the Macan, Porsche has managed to create a compact SUV that sets new standards for handling and performance without sacrificing any of its everyday usability.
Here is a car that would have no problem climbing steep muddy hills, completing a hotlap of Silverstone, slogging it on the M1 from London to Birmingham and blending in at the golf course car park – all in one day.
It’s a fantastic all-rounder but clearly comes with a high price-tag that isn’t exactly conducive to company car taxing. But, if you’ve got the means to make it work we’d wholeheartedly recommend it.
