Phil Robson, Peugeot’s fleet director, loves the new tools Peugeot is offering company car drivers

I MET Peugeot’s fleet boss, Phil Robson, the other day over a quick cup of coffee before I had to dash to another meeting – and Phil had to make a presentation.

Phil covered a lot of ground – particularly with Peugeot’s changing approach to the SME market (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) which is kicking off this year (see our Special Report).

And he’s clearly excited by the prospect – along with a revamped website and a new mobile app.

“For the SME market and the company car driver we’ll be bringing a range of electronic tools – including a new app – that will be revolutionary in the market,” Phil explained with some enthusiasm.

…we feel many company car drivers out there have outdated views about the brand

“These will help both the small business owner and the company car driver to realise the low fiscal position of our cars.”

Now you’ve built me up Phil, they had better be good!

Phil was warming to his theme – and I always like to see someone who’s passionate about what they believe in.

“We need to get people to reappraise the Peugeot – because we feel many company car drivers out there have outdated views about the brand. Our new tools will be in real time, powerful and will deliver that reappraisal of Peugeot across the whole ownership spectrum,” Phil explained

It all sounds highly intriguing – especially as the information will be delivered in real-time. But Phil will have to contain his excitement a little longer.

The new Peugeot company car tax and company car comparison tools don’t go live until the end of quarter 1, 2013.
