Ogilvie Fleet’s Jim Hannah – benefiting from improved efficiences

WANT to save money and make your small fleet more efficient? Maybe you should be talking to HK Remarketing, like Ogilvie Fleet did.

Bedfordshire-based HK Remarketing, part of the Hudson Kapel Group, sells cars at the end of their leasing period – or for SME fleets that own cars, when their company cars need to be moved on – and includes full smart repairs prior to sale so best values are generated.

They seem to be pretty good at it too. Lease company Ogilvie Fleet has just agreed with HK Remarketing to provide the complete end of lease to sale operation for them.

The system, says HK Remarketing, is the result of working closely with Ogilvie for the last 12 months, and has been configured specifically for them.

The benefits to Ogilvie include full inventory visibility, plus a multiple channel sales operation and supplier selection. Cleverly, it can show the entire vehicle fleet, all the suppliers and when the time comes to de-fleet and offer through multiple sales channels.

Jim Hannah, operations director at Ogilvie Fleet said: “We introduced the HK  Remarketing platform to increase efficiency within our remarketing team.

“The key goal for us was to be able to handle multiple suppliers within the same environment, for stock management, collections, inspections and preparation of pre- and post-sales analysis.

“We have now achieved this and as a result, significantly reduced the amount of time spent searching through different supplier’s individual sites.”
