Swansea-based vehicle hire company, Northgate, donated a minibus to instructors and gym goers from Active Swansea Penlan Leisure Centre, the Penlan Peakers.

The free of charge 17-seater minibus supported the team in their 24 hour Three Peaks Challenge, which took place on the 19th and 20th June, raising £4,500 for three charities.

The minibus helped the group travel between the peaks of Snowdon in Wales, Scafell Pike in England and Ben Nevis in Scotland – which are the three highest peaks in England, Wales and Scotland – to raise money for Marie Curie, Motor Neurone Disease UK and Age Concern.

The Penlan Peakers achieved their goal in 23 hours and 25 minutes, which was under their 24 hour target.
