NEXUS Vehicle Rental has launched a new Management Information (MI) suite.

Sitting within the company’s IRIS rental booking and management system, the MI suite promises to provide clients with previously unavailable bespoke data and enables users to identify key trends easily.

The MI suite is designed to identify savings and efficiencies.

An interactive dashboard shows clients a snapshot of their rental profile, providing at-a-glance data.

This includes:

  • number of bookings
  • vehicles on rent
  • rental durations
  • top delivery locations
  • popular vehicle groups and
  • fuel types.

Furthermore, the platform highlights the number of out of hours and one-way rentals to identify avoidable costs, with graphs and charts supplying easy-to-digest data.

All figures are comparable to the previous user defined period and can now be filtered by date to help identify trends down to specific driver profiles and highlight variances, with this visibility and benchmarking enabling firms to recognise and reduce spend.

Nexus says that in the last year it has helped clients save up to 20% on their rental expenditure.

Providing insight into individual driver compliances, including data on fuel, mileage costs and fines incurred, the number of damage claims and their historical value, management users can easily spot driver issues.

The MI suite pinpoints the number of claims invalidated by Nexus – which is over 30% of damage claims per annum on average – and consequential savings. Nexus’ forward-thinking driver text messaging facility reminds drivers to check for damage, refuel, sign paperwork and make keys available – all reducing avoidable costs.

David Brennan:constant innovation

CEO of Nexus Vehicle Rental, David Brennan, said:

“We are constantly innovating to support our clients’ evolving mobility requirements. Our new Management Information suite is extremely responsive and enables customers to monitor service level performance transparently and ensures we are meeting our Service Level Agreements, providing data on booking satisfaction and information on the number of deliveries and collections that are on time. I’m proud to say that we operate a No Turndown promise and in the last two years have achieved a 99% customer satisfaction rate.

“Customers are able to access key billing data through the portal, including total rental cost, the number of invoices received and billing accuracy. In the last year, more than 99% of Nexus invoices were correct first time and 98% of invoices were produced within three days of off hire as a result of our innovative software.”

Nexus’ award-winning IRIS software provides access to more than 550,000 vehicles across more than 2,000 locations across the UK.
