Porsche is introducing senior management changes at its Reading HQ.
The German sports car maker is bringing in a new general manager of marketing and a new general manager of ownership.
Coming in from the cold, so to speak, is Ragnar Schulte who joins as general manager marketing from Porsche Russia, where he was Director of Marketing and Business Development based in Moscow.
Ragnar has spent most of his 13 year automotive career with Porsche having joined from Italian sports car maker Maserati where he was marketing director in Germany.
Ragnar’s new responsibilities incorporate the UK and Ireland where he will be in charge of Porsche’s marketing, product and overall brand strategy.
Graham Lightfoot joins from Hyundai where he was aftersales director for 11 years, responsible for the company’s
Triple Care five year warranty.
At Porsche, Graham will be responsible for the overall Ownership Strategy for Porsche in the UK and Ireland, which also incorporates Parts and Distribution, Technical and Warranty.
“I am really pleased to welcome Ragnar and Graham to the executive team at Reading,” said Chris Craft, Porsche Cars managing director.
“Their combined experience will bring fresh strategic direction as we enter a period of fascinating new product introductions, and also help us continue to deliver the distinctive and unique Porsche customer experience.”
Porsche has recently introduced its new 911 Coupe and Boxster roadster, while further up the road in 2013 are a 918 Spyder, the sports car featuring plug-in technology, and a compact SUV currently known as Macan.
