THE range topping Land-Rover Freelander Metropolis will lead a comprehensive upgrade of the Freelander range due to go on sale from June.
There’ll be three models in the range with the new SE and SE Tech models replacing the GS and XS.
All get improved specs and the TD4 diesel is now available with manual transmission for the SE and SE Tech, with an automatic as an option. The auto box is standard on the Metropolis.
The Metropolis will replace the HSE as the most luxurious in the SUV line-up, adding to the already impressive spec with electrically adjustable front seats in premium Windsor leather, touch-screen sat nav, an 825W surround-sound system, panoramic sunroof, 19-inch diamond-turned wheels, Xenon headlights, heated steering wheel and reversing camera.
