The new Citroen C5 will go on sale from April.

There will be two models in the range.

A Citroen C5 saloon; and a Citroen C5 estate called the Tourer.

The Citroen C5 Tourer is 5cm longer than the saloon, offering a load capacity of 533 litres. With the rear seats folded, boot capacity increases to 1490 litres – enough to accommodate six 60-inch plasma screen TVs, says Citroen.

Among the options available for the Citroen C5 Tourer estate are a panoramic glass roof with electric sunblind and a motorised tailgate to make loading easier. The elevation of the tailgate can be set to different heights depending on access restrictions.

Other options available on both C5 saloon and Tourer will be two suspension settings.

The choice of engines includes two petrol models: 127bhp 1.8i 16V and 143bhp 2.0i 16V. And four HDi diesel engines: HDi 110, HDi 138, HDi 173 and HDi V6 208.
