ACFO – the Association of Car Fleet Operators – has a new person in charge.
Damian James, the current deputy chairman, takes over as the new chairman from Julie Jenner.
Julie, who has served as chair of the organisation since 2006, remains on the board and will now look to strengthen ties with outside agencies.
The new chairman, Damian James, who is head of operations at Bracknell Forest Council, will have a new deputy chairman.
Caroline Sandall, who has 18 years fleet decision-maker experience and has been fleet manager at Barclays Bank for more than eight years, takes over as deputy chairman.
“Becoming chairman is a really exciting opportunity for me and marks the highpoint of my career with ACFO,” commented Damian on his appointment.
“Over the years I have found the knowledge and experience of fellow ACFO members tremendously helpful in assisting me in managing a fleet, and through my work as chairman I hope I am able to return that assistance and help other fleet decision-makers.”
ACFO, which is a non-profit making organisation, represents the interests of businesses which operate cars and vans as part of their normal commercial activities.
