More powerful engines for upgraded Hiace

Toyota’s panel van has revised engines, new front-end styling and a better interior.

There is more power for the Toyota Hiace panel van. The two 2.5-litre D-4D diesels have been uprated to 94 and 115bhp.

The new model has a revised bonnet line and more prominent bumper and grille.

The interior has been upgraded to give it a more car-like feel. There is also the option of a CD/MP3 player.

The three-seat panel van is available in short wheelbase and long wheelbase styles. It can be specified with rear lift door, or swing out doors that open 180 degrees.

  • Revised Hiace on sale from 16 October
  • 88bhp engine upgraded to 94bhp
  • 100bhp engine upgraded to 115bhp
  • Revised front-end styling
