MARTIN Wilson has been appointed Hyundai sales director in a senior sales team reshuffle.
The company announced the move by saying that after a hugely successful 2015, Hyundai Motor UK Ltd is “entering the next phase of development moving towards our 2020 target of over 100,000 sales and a 5% market share.
“We have a host of all-new products which will take us into new segments of the market in that time. In preparation, we have completed a senior level reorganisation in the Sales Division, with specific focus on three key areas for future business growth. These changes will be effective immediately.”
- Martin Wilson, currently fleet director, becomes sales director – reporting directly to the president & CEO. His responsibilities will include sales operations, sales & market planning and Tilbury Import Centre.
- Guy Pigounakis, currently sales director, has been appointed to the role of fleet director – reporting directly to the president & CEO. Guy’s extensive sales experience will be focused on the continued development of Hyundai Motor UK’s Fleet Operations – maximising the company’s presence across all sales channels.
- Paul Wills, currently dealer development director, will continue in the role which will now report directly to the president & CEO.
