Mark Hopkins is the new marketing director at Kia

SWOPPING vans for cars – Mark was previously head of marketing for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles – Hopkins will report to commercial director Yaser Shabsogh.

Mark will look after Kia’s overall marketing strategy and execution, from product, brand to customer marketing teams.

“We are delighted to confirm Mark as marketing director at Kia. He has brilliant automotive industry experience, and brings a wealth of Above-The-Line, digital and CRM expertise that will really help us continue to drive forward our ambitious UK growth plans,” comented Shabsogh.

At the same time, Kia has launched the 2014 version of its fantastically successful Sportage model.

The 2014 Kai Sportage features freshened up styling upgrades, new levels of equipment  with prices starting at £17,495.

Since the current car’s launch in 2010, the Sportage – with its arresting styling – has proved an immense success. In 2013 over 20,800 models found new owners.

The new 2014 Kia Sportage is available to order now; delivery starts February 2014.
