The e-fleet app is registration number specific, so all the support services for your car are immediately accessible

A NEW e-fleet mobile app from Fleet Alliance is about to make life simpler for company car and business drivers.

It will not only allow them to record their business mileages easier but, being registration number specific, also let them access key support services including tyres, automotive glass, servicing, maintenance and breakdown and recovery.

Drivers can access support services and record their mileage while managers can stay compliant with their duty of care

That means suppliers of these services can be contacted at the push of a button and drivers can book their next service the same way.

The advantage for SME small fleet managers is that it provides mileage data for over mileage contract issues by allowing them to identify those vehicles in danger of exceeding their agreed mileages.

The new app should also helps ensure companies meet their duty of care obligations, as it provides drivers with access to an electronic vehicle condition report.

Martin Brown, managing director of Fleet Alliance, commented: “Our new e-fleet mobile web app makes use of the latest smart phone technology to provide company car and business drivers with enhanced functionality and remote access to the key services they need to ensure their vehicles continue to operate effectively.

“This allows them to access a variety of support services at the touch of a button, update mileage records remotely and electronically and confirm they are compliant with duty of care requirements.

“This development in turn helps the SME fleet manager operate more effectively than before in a number of key business car driver contact areas through the more effective recording of vital driver information.”

The app is compatible with the latest iPhone, Android and Blackberry devices.
