LEXUS is entering the UK market for mid-range crossovers with the new NX.
Engine options include a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol and a hybrid. The hybrids, badged Lexus NX 300h will arrive in October, and the turbocharged petrol, the NX 200t, turns up in spring next year.
There will be five trim levels; S for entry-level front-wheel drive NX 300h models, and SE, Luxury, F Sport and Premier. The 200t will only be available as an F Sport.
Equipment levels are generous, with even the entry-level S model getting alloy wheels, LED low-beam headlights and daytime running lights, the Pre-Crash Safety system and Adaptive Cruise Control, dual zone climate control, a DAB radio and electric folding door mirrors.
Prices for the hybrid models start at £29,495 and rise to £42,995 for the NX 300h Premier AWD. The price of the NX 200t F Sport will be released later on.
