Lexus CT200
A variation on the CT200 packaged specifically to attract business car buyers

LEXUS is looking to make its low company car tax premium hatchback even more appealing to business users, with this, the CT200h Advance model.

The exclusive new trim features an extensive kit list and adds just £500 to the P11D cost of the CT200h SE.

Additional equipment on the Lexus CT200h Advance includes integrated sat-nav, cruise control, automatic wipers and a reversing camera.

The Advance also sees the debut of a new artificial leather called Tahara, which Lexus says generates 65 per cent less CO2 than conventional leather during production. It is available in two colours – black or tan – and comes as standard on all Advance models.

The new trim also introduces the new MoveOn navigation system, which includes live traffic updates by using a SIM card and 3G connection. This is a built-in system, which negates the need for a separate mobile phone link.

Aside from the aesthetic and equipment additions, the Advance is just like any other CT200h.

Its Toyota Prius-based drive-train and CVT gearbox equate to emissions of just 94g/km – making it VED and London Congestion-Charge exempt, while combined economy of 68.9mpg makes it one of the most efficient cars in its class.

The company car tax band on the Lexus CT200h Advance is 10% for the next two years, moving up a band in 2014/15, making it highly tax-efficient

Company car tax payable is just £489 a year for a 20% marginal rate tax payer; £978 a year for a 40% tax payer.

The Lexus CT200h Advance is priced from £24,495.
