Europcar UK Group, the UK’s leading daily rental provider, has opened the largest rental facility in Europe.

Located close to Heathrow Terminal 5, the new 3.4-acre site features a series of industry-leading customer service initiatives.

These are aimed at enhancing the car rental experience for in-bound and out-bound business, as well as leisure, customers.

The new site features a total fleet of 4500 vehicles and can handle up to 190,000 check-ins and check-outs per annum.

The T5 site supports all Europcar UK Group brands: Europcar, National Car Rental, Guy Salmon Prestige Rental and Alamo Rent A Car.

The new location features a completely new and best in class courtesy coach fleet providing a highly frequent service between all terminals, with a dedicated facility for Terminal 5.

“Travellers want a swift and stress-free transition – whether it’s from plane to car or car to plane – and that has been our total focus in the creation of this industry-leading facility,” commented John Leigh, managing director, Europcar UK Group.

“By opening the largest car rental location in Europe, with some of the most advanced customer service initiatives in the sector, we are reinforcing our position as the UK’s number one car rental provider.”
