Toyota is the highest ranked automotive brand and this is the face-lifted Toyota Yaris

It says leading automotive brands continue to combine focus on energy-efficient products and integrated technology which is helping to drive brand loyalty and value.

This year, the collective brand value of the automotive brands appearing on the Best Global Brands ranking increased 14.6%. All 14 automotive brands collectively make up a combined brand value of $211.9Bn (£131.7Bn). With three-out-of-five top risers coming from the automotive sector.

This year’s top 14 automotive brands include: Toyota (8th, +20%), Mercedes-Benz (10th, +8%), BMW (11th, +7%), Honda (20th, +17%),Volkswagen (31st, +23%), Ford (39th, +18%), Hyundai (40th, +16%), Audi (45th, +27%), Nissan (56th, +23%), Porsche (60th, +11%), Kia (74th, +15%), Chevrolet (82nd, +10%), Harley-Davidson (87th, +13%) and Land Rover the new entry at 91st.
