Kia Stinger in brief
- Kia Stinger signals Kia’s plan to move the Hyundai sister brand further upmarket
- Gran Turismo styling, rear drive and up to 365bhp punch
- Proper four-seater
- On sale in the UK later this year
THE Kia Stinger proves that Kia really does have premium aspirations of its own – and not let sister brand Hyundai have all the limelight.
Why? Well, on top of the aggressive Gran Turismo styling, the Stinger packs a serious rear-drive punch with the choice of two engines – a 255bhp, 2.0-litre four-cylinder and the range-topping 3.3-litre Turbo with a colossal 365bhp.
The inside is more conservatively styled, but is no less impressive, with that long-wheelbase equalling lots of legroom and a TFT screen replacing the standard instruments.
Prices are expected to top £40,000 when it arrives later this year, making the Stinger the most expensive Kia ever in the UK. We’d buy one; would you?
