JAMES Morrison is back with MINI – after a ‘short sabbatical’ – to entrance SME small fleets (and larger corporate fleets) with the magic of MINI.
The corporate development manager wants the MINI sparkle, so joyfully received by retail buyers, to resonate more closely with small businesses following the launch of the latest MINI hatch.
Central to this appeal is a contract hire car lease of just £159 a month for the Cooper D, and a £199 a month lease deal on the larger MINI Countryman Business edition, complete with its 17 inch alloys and standard sat nav specification.
And that’s just the start: “We’re looking at further MINI initiatives for the SME market,” confirmed James.
“Meanwhile we’re supporting MINI business dealers with ICFM accreditation so they can talk knowledgeably to SME customers about their best financing options and the various tax implications of their acquisition choice.
“We also keep a stock of pre-built MINIs specifically for SMEs who are often ‘shorter to market’. By this I mean SMEs often require a car more quickly because they have a starter who needs a new car quickly, whereas larger corporate fleets often have a pool car that can be utilised as a short term measure.”
