THE HYUNDAI message is clearly getting through to small businesses and SME small fleets.
Hyundai is reporting dealer fleet sales up 23% year on year and has just announced a record quarter for Hyundai Contract Hire, with volumes up 500 units year on year.
“We’ve had a very strong quarter with our small fleet sales with very strong take up of Hyundai Contract Hire from small businesses,” confirmed Martin Wilson, fleet director, Hyundai.
“Our good value Hyundai Contract Hire proposition is underpinned by strong residual values,” continued Martin. “Our fleet strategy continues to show growth and will develop into 2015.”
Martin said the new Hyundai i20 had received a good response at the Paris Show (see Our top 10 cars at the Paris Show) and he was expecting to get demo cars out to customers in the next few months.
A racier three-door coupe version will follow next year.
