JAMES Hopkins is new MD of BCA Fleet Solutions, succeeding Tony Booth who is taking responsibility for the new BCA De-Fleet centre in Corby for VW Group.
Hopkins is currently the director of BCA Group Solutions and with the appointment, effective from Monday 27 November, brings with him a broad knowledge of the automotive sector having worked in a diverse number of roles across the whole supply chain including remarketing, fleet operations, leasing, financial services and captive insurance.
He has held senior roles for companies such as Mazda UK and Europe, Ford and LeasePlan – where he was brand director for Network.
Ian Carlisle, divisional CEO of BCA Services, commented: “We are delighted that James will be taking on this important role as MD of BCA Fleet Solutions. His knowledge and understanding of BCA’s full value chain of automotive supply will be critical as we continue to develop intelligent, joined-up solutions for customers that utilise all of the BCA services across the automotive marketplace.”
He added “His experience of multi-site high volume operations, business development, customer services and working in competitive industries will be invaluable especially when supported by the strong team that already exists in Fleet Solutions.”
