High-power low-emissions diesel for A4

The Audi A4 has a new 170PS 2.0 TDI turbodiesel. The new engine is available in both saloon and Avant estate models.

The 170PS TDI engine joins the 120PS and 143PS 2.0 TDI Audi A4 models.

The 170PS 2.0 TDI A4 manual saloon has 53.3mpg economy and 140g/km CO2 emissions. That means 19% benefit in kind tax. Performance is 143mph and 0-62mph in 8.3 seconds.

The new 170PS 2.0 TDi A4 is available with front-wheel drive and quattro four-wheel drive. Trim levels are S and S line.

All versions have: three-zone climate control; 180-watt Concert CD audio system with 6.5-inch colour display; automatic headlights; and rain-sensing wipers. The S line model adds xenon lights, body kit and sports interior.

Prices for the new A4 170PS 2.0 TDI span L24,600 to L27,175.
