GLENN Stanton is heading up a revamped line-up of product managers at Audi.
Glenn himself is new to Audi, having joined at the beginning of June after 18 years at rival Mercedes-Benz. His role is product marketing manager overseeing a team of six product specialists responsible for setting the UK product offer and comms lines for all new Audis.
New to the team is Dan Marsh, who joins from Skoda, responsible for R8 and A8. Dan spent two years at Skoda as a management accountant, and prior to that was at Mercedes-Benz.
Also new to the team is Matt Rance who joins from Vauxhall, responsible for A6 and A7. Matt joins Audi after eight years with General Motors, including a stint at Saab and latterly as area sales manager for Vauxhall.
Both Dan and Matt joined Audi mid July.
Martin Baker (Q3 and Q5 and Q7) and Chris Batty (A1 and Q2) continue in their current roles.
Glenn says he is hiring two further product managers for A4/A5 and A3/TT. “We will have the team in place by mid-August,” he said.
Meanwhile Anna Chudley, currently responsible for Q7/Q3 is moving on to a new role, looking at Audi’s electrification strategies, embracing dealer readiness, marketing comms and so on are geared up for it.
“So it’s exciting to have a new team in place at such a busy time. When you come into the brand you see the breadth of models, it’s quite a fantastic job to have.
“There are currently 50 models, moving to 60 in the future.
“The issue for us is continuing to make the model range fully understandable to customers, especially with so many derivatives available,” added Glenn.
