KENT based Fleet Trak Limited, a gold rated reseller of TomTom Telematics, has partnered with The Driving Doctor to provide the company’s ground-breaking driver behaviour software product to their blue-chip customer base.

FLEET management company Fleet Trak is to offer its customers The Driving Doctor driver behaviour software.

The Kent-based company is one of the UK’s largest independent suppliers and installers of TomTom Telematics technology.

It also supplies fleet management consultancy and CCTV systems to some of the UK’s leading businesses across a wide range of sectors and industries.

This partnership arrangement enables Fleet Trak to sell The Driving Doctor’s unique driver behaviour methodology and coaching proposition.

The driver behaviour software helps reduce accidents, improve road safety and compliance factors and to reduce costs, lower emissions and fuel usage.

The Driving Doctor’s sophisticated software system harvests the vast amount of data that is captured by TomTom’s vehicle telematics hardware. It then interprets this information through a bespoke IT platform and via digital channels, provides each driver with a perpetual supply of evidence-based practical safer driving advice, expert feedback and personal coaching, all centred around drivers’ individual requirements and at an annual cost far below that of traditional driver training. Importantly, it also measures and scores driver engagement.

Commenting on the new partnership, Sean Malone, managing director of Fleet Trak, said:

“The Driving Doctor technology is the missing link to driver improvement and will help amalgamate our portfolio of products.

“One-to-one driver training has its place but unless the results are monitored on a regular basis, the driver can easily slip back into bad habits, increasing the risk, reducing efficiency and eroding its cost-effectiveness. The Driving Doctor ticks all of these boxes and more as the coaching is constant and based on real-time driver data. Exciting times ahead!”
